Dog Friendly Policy

At the Virginia Guesthouse, we understand how important your four-legged friends are to you and we welcome your well-behaved canine companions.  Our goal is to provide you and your dog a pleasant and safe stay. For the comfort and safety of all guests and their dogs, we kindly request that all dog owners act responsibly and respect other guests.

To ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests, the following guidelines apply:

1. A maximum of two dogs per guest room is permitted.
2. Each dog must weigh 25 pounds or less.
3. Dogs must be leashed or carried in public areas of the hotel.
4. Dogs are not permitted in indoor dining venues or food and beverage areas.
5. Dogs may not be left unattended in guest rooms at any time.
6. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for any damage or additional cleaning required as a result of their pet’s stay.

The Virginia Guesthouse complies fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and welcomes service animals in all areas of the hotel where guests are normally permitted.
